§ 67.1. Definitions.
The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
Act—The act of July 22, 1975 (P. L. 75, No. 45) (71 P. S. § § 61, 62, 63, 66, 158, 188, 631.1, 631.2, 632, 633.1, 638, 641, 642, 643 and 645).
Department—The Department of General Services of the Commonwealth.
Emergency—A state existing only if the situation is of such a nature that its failure to be corrected immediately will result in additional damages to the Commonwealth or affect the public safety and welfare of the people of the Commonwealth.
Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage—The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (43 P. S. § § 165-1—165-17).
