§ 55.3. Definitions.

 The following words and terms when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

   Department—The Department of Transportation of the Commonwealth.

   Registered gross weight class—The class of registered gross weight listed in 75 Pa.C.S. §  1916 (relating to trucks and truck-tractors) in which a truck, truck-tractor or combination is registered, indicated by a number, 1 through 25.

   Registration class sticker—A sticker issued by the Department which indicates the registered gross weight class in which a truck, truck-tractor or combination is registered.
