§ 1.2-209. Oath of Office.

 Every elected officer, every member of an authority, board, commission and committee (except committees consisting only of members of the Board), and such other officers and employes as the Board may by ordinance determine shall prior to assuming office or employment sign an oath or affirmation of office as prescribed by ordinance or the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Such oath or affirmation shall be administered by any person authorized to administer oaths or affirmations and shall be filed in the office of the Election and Registration Commission.
